| 2009 World Champions, Twister-Racing announce their FSR 2010 drivers |
|
FSR World Championship drivers Three time FSR WC Champion, from Portugal, Bruno Marques and the TR010 #2 I'm really pleased to have joined Twister-Racing, everyone works a lot, the team has a very good atmosphere and I've been trying to get to know pretty much everyone. I can't wait for the season to start. Driving along side me is Domagoj "Dodo" Malezic. Dodo is an incredible driver, pretty quick and a good guy, it will be a pretty good season for sure! The new car also looks pretty good, I couldn’t wait to sit in it, drive it, and burn some fuel! Just a week to go now, see you in Bahrain! From Croatia, Domagoj “Dodo” Malezic and the TR010 #0 I am pleased to be in the Twister-Racing WC team which I have been dreaming about for a long time. I joined the team in 2006 and I was driving in 2007 but then I had some personal problems and I was unable to drive. Back then I was miles away of even driving some fun races. Then after 18 months of not touching the wheel I tried to drive and I didn’t feel any problems regarding my health. So, the 2008 season was only to get into this environment and prepare myself for a WC drive. I think I am completely ready now. Regarding this season, which I see as my debut season, my last race in the WC was in Fuji 2 1/2 years ago. I do not consider some of the WC races in 2007 as my start in WC because I never planned to drive in WC, I was only driving because the team wanted me to get some more experience and fill in for some drivers. So I think my real WC career starts from Bahrain this year. Having Bruno Marques next to me gives me extra motivation. I am really pleased to have him as my team-mate and I will help him as much as I can and I hope to learn a lot from him in my debut season in WC. Also, driving for Twister-Racing who are the current World Champions will be a great experience as one of the team goals is to defend title of course. I think we definitely have chance of winning, everything except winning will be considered as failure. In the end, thanks to my friend and boss Phil Estrada for giving me a WC drive and helping me in every situation he could. Current Twister-Racing drivers Mikko Pummalainen (2008 Pro champion, 2009 Ace champion) and Karol Poniatowski (2009 Ace runner up to the champion) are on loan to SB Motorsports. They’ll be driving the sister car to the new TR010 and are involved in all Twister-Racing activities. SB Motorsports, http://www.sbms.eu/ will unveil their livery before the start of the season.
